Great listen. intrigued about the other books now too. I didn't realise I had listened to a book that had a prequel.

This was a good read but I am left still thinking about what happened to the characters. I want more.

The first book, Widows was a real page turner and full of suspense. This book which picks up Dolly Rawlings life after a spell in prison, is quite good, but less full of suspense and quite predictable until the end.

A clever plot - an unpredictable twist in the tail

To some younger listeners some of the phrases may seem a little dated
But it is a good story line with all the intrigue of misfortune of ex cons trying to go straight ,with the knowledge of crime making easy money when it works well even if there is a prison sentence to pay as part of the price. An insight into the female criminal mind with contrasting internal fights with right and wrong .

Easy listening
