Magic runs in the family. Unfortunately, chaos is Paige’s specialty.

When Paige Turner inherits her mother Reed’s knack for attracting magical disasters, she also inherits her mother’s unfinished business—protecting a library of dangerous magical artifacts and keeping the world safe from things better left shelved.

Armed with quick wit, questionable luck, and a snarky teacup dragon named Dewey, Paige faces an ever-growing list of problems: magical artifacts, vengeful undead, interdimensional mishaps, and more surprises than she’s ready for.

But it’s not just about survival. Somewhere in the chaos lies the key to rescuing her mother, Reed, whose mysterious disappearance left Paige to pick up the pieces. As she fends off magical calamities and shadowy enemies, Paige learns that protecting the world isn’t just about wielding power—it’s about finding herself along the way.

This complete series includes all eight laugh-out-loud books and the prequel novella that started it all. If you love slapstick humor, quirky characters, and fantasy worlds brimming with unpredictable magic hidden just below the real world's surface, Shelving Magic is your next binge obsession.

Get ready to laugh, gasp, and cheer as Paige turns magical mishaps into heroic triumphs—one disaster at a time.

I wish the first book 0.5 was longer. it was pretty decent. then we moved on to the actual book 1 with the Trainwreck we call Paige turner god she is clumsy. I should of stopped listening at book one but for some reason I couldn't stop listening. it captured me about half way through book one. 5 stars for captivating me. keep up the good work 😀

I enjoyed listening to this series. It was a silly story of the supernatural world that exists right alongside humans. It’s about one clumsy girls journey through a foreign world that she found herself launched into.

A series that you can simply enjoy and not really think about things.

A fun, silly, series to get away from reality.

I like the idea of a story, but the author doesn’t really have the skill too manage it. The characters were very likable and fun but there was no depth and a huge amount of repetition across language, phrases and situations. Very much a series to listen to while you’re doing something else… doesn’t require a lot of concentration. There was so many extracts where I thought the author was going to do something clever and original, but again much like the lack of character depth these passages quickly turned into something else. Whether that was a weak resolution or a distraction with something else. I guess great imagination, but could do better on the execution.

Pleasant escapism
