I thought book 1 was brutal but brilliant… book 2 is just simply brutal. That ending completely broke me.. I was sobbing for the entire hour. 😭 (Until I got annoyed that the other two characters went back to their lives as if nothing just happened? Life altering event in one chapter with heartbreaking tragedy, then sex as if nothing happened in the next chapter?)

The description says HEA… there certainly was no happily in that ending. I only decided to purchase these because it mentioned HEA. If I knew how tragic it would end, I wouldn’t have purchased. HEA should be scrubbed from the description - unless in some divine miracle there will be a 3rd book with ***’s return..? One can dream 🥺. Please give us another book or two in this series.. I’m so attached I can’t even 😂

The two books as a whole were nothing less than amazing …If you can handle reading tragic loss - or maybe just skip the end 🥲

This book, just as the prequel has given me so much joy listening to. The books are well written and the voice actors are extremely good. I will definitely recommend this series to others as it is a really good dark fantasy. The enemies to lovers in this book is the best I've ever heard.

Very well done Liv Zander!

The spice in this book was very good. Exactly to my liking!
