I will never be controlled again. A manipulative dragon shifter. A sexy phaetyn prince. Me? I shouldn’t even exist.
With peace established in Verald, I should be free; Lord Tyrrik is liberated from his blood oath, after all. But the freedom in Verald is an illusion. If I remain, destruction will surely follow.
As soon as I come into my powers, the blood-thirsty emperor of Draecon will know. Even now, he is hunting me. When a Phaetyn prince arrives promising safety, the solution seems perfect. A little too perfect. But is the objective of our group security or something more? Because everyone is telling me what my goals should be.
Should I listen with my head - or my heart? I might not get a choice. Who do you trust when everyone has lied to you?
©2018 Raye Wagner (P)2019 Raye WagnerFull of action, humor and satisfying slow burn romance. I whish this story was longer. I didn't feel this way since reading ACOTAR.
Oh, the slow burn 🔥

Shadow Wings: The Darkest Drae, Book 2
By: Raye Wagner, Kelly St. Clare
Audiobook 🎧
Narrated by: Sierra Kline
Length: 10 hrs and 49 mins
This was a gripping read. The team of Ryn, Tyrrik, and Dyter follow Prince Kamoi to the Phaetyn lands, hoping to broker an alliance against Emperor Draedyn.🙏🏼 There are some shocks in store on route and in the Zivost Forest!👑💥
Next, they move to the Kingdom of Gemond. Ryn is very distrustful and disturbed by what she'd witnessed their elders doing on an earlier flight. She isn't she this king is someone they want to have an alliance with. Truths come to light, however!💔
This book is full of action, emotion, and conflict. It makes it an exciting read but the narrator really brings it to life.👏🎧

The narration was okay but overly dramatic which made the MC even more irritating. I contemplated not finishing the book.
Great story but
