Sometimes your dream guy isn’t who you think he is.

Sem has been stalking me for months. He shows up everywhere I am and lurks in the background, his eyes always on me. I don’t understand his fascination with me, but he won’t leave me alone.

He’s definitely not my type. He’s too big, too reckless, and too feral.

But then one night he breaks into my apartment and dares me to do something crazy and I can’t say no.

Then I do it again. And again.

Now it seems we’re both addicted to this secret little game.

But when I begin to see the man beneath the brutish exterior, will falling in love prove to be the most reckless bet yet?

Warning: this story deals with bullying and contains some homophobic language.

It was fun, made me laugh, a lot!! Loved the narrators performance. Alexander did a brilliant job voicing Magnus. It's not a story full of twists and turns, it's slightly unhinged which makes it hilarious and with lots of sweet moments.

Having met Sem & Magnus in Whit I was really looking forward to them . Warning don’t start listening at 1am in the morning as you’ll laugh out loud and annoy your family 😆 The interaction between them both was hilarious at time and when Magnus had to face his family and Sem wouldn’t let him change who he was made my heart melt. I’m off to start Emery now .

Unlike some other books that have you dying to know for chapters if they will stay together I loved how this story evolved. The character development was great, there was even a time I cried which I wasn’t expecting! I loved the raw passion and energy from both and the narration as always was sublime.

Emotional rollercoaster
