As always with the Sugarland novels this is a rollicking and fast moving story full of unexpected and exciting twists and turns. The characters continue to develop and grow in so many ways. The conclusion wraps up mostly of the threads from this and previous stories in a most satisfactory way.

I really enjoyed the narrator. Her characterisations and accent added so much to the narrative.

I really enjoyed this novel. I’m hoping for many more.

This Felt the Most Authentic

I am really unhappy with the change in narrator! After all the books in this series you become familiar with the narrator. The new narrator makes verity sound like whiney, and Frankie does not come across the same at all. I loved how the previous narrator brought the characters to life but unfortunately the change will make me think twice before buying anymore in this series.
