I just really struggled with some of the language, so I think other readers might be fine with it.
I couldn’t get past the fmc’s nickname. No man should call his lover ‘kid’. And I just find some of it a vulgar, along the lines of ‘you know you want to sit on my cock’. Who says that in a conversation if he’s trying to win the girl over, unless it’s in banter? Just gave me the ick. Which was a shame because I really liked his back story and struggles.

well written, great plot, no need for the last "truth" , could have been avoided. narrators brilliant, of y like Erin mallon or cj bloom yll love the female narrator. will be following for more.

This story was more gripping and emotional than I expected. It held my attention and made me want to hear more.
Obviously the male lead is a walking red flag but this is why we read!
I’ve enjoyed listening to this and want to read more by this author.

Great twists and turns

I know this is some people’s yum, but there was nothing redeeming about this guy. I read dark romance, including bully romance and at some point it turns around enough that you want them to be together. It didn’t happen for me in this book. The voice actors were wonderful though.

He was an a-hole and she was desperate

While the ending could be forecasted the journey was not predictable, it was a good read and I would recommend it to other readers
