Ethan “Chaos” Watson is the unofficial leader of Fallport, Virginia’s Search and Rescue team. The former Navy SEAL has found a lot of different people in the forest in the last five years since he arrived in the small town - escaped convicts, lost kids, hikers who went missing, runaway teenagers, and even a lost pet or two. But this is the first time he’s been asked to look for Bigfoot.

Get ready to fall in love with the quirky residents of Fallport, Virginia, and the seven men on the Eagle Point Search and Rescue Team. They’ve sworn to risk their lives to keep the town safe, but losing their hearts during the process was never the plan. Start this new series with Searching for Lilly.

Searching for Lilly is the first book in the Eagle Point Search & Rescue series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliff-hanger endings.

I've not read Susan Stoker before and the start of a new series seemed a good way to begin. I listened to it on audio as well as having the kindle edition. The narration was clear and I felt the narrators did a good job of bringing another dimension to the characters.
Enjoyed the set up and the location. Really liked that Lilly could hold her own and was a strong female character. The suspense came a little later in the story than I expected but it was ok as I enjoyed the romance and chemistry between the two main characters in the lead up to the action and the world building the town it was set in.
While I wait for the second book in the series to come out, as I definitely want to discover Elsie's story who was foreshadowed in this book, I'll have a look at some of the author's other books.
Ticking all the boxes for me ... romance, strong women, alpha males, suspense and emotion.

Lilly is a camera woman in a small sleepy town in searching for Bigfoot .
Ethan the team are worried about what trouble the film crew are going to get into while in town. Getting closer to Lilly wasn’t the plan.
