While the actual content is mediocre, the narrators tone and style of narration is almost comical at times and sounds like a b list action film trains for the most part. If I didn’t know better I would have thought it was satire.

I usually swear by Craig Dilouie and find most of his works to be well researched and very well put together. Don’t know whether it was moody’s influence but this was just cliche after cliche. The story was alright I guess, nothing really notable. The action was much of the same.

Won’t say I disliked it as it had its moments but I won’t be in any hurry to purchase the second installation.

Not Craig Dilouie’s usual standard

Really liked the idea and concept - reminded me of One Last Gasp,
only real let down for me was the narrators - not ever line needs to sound like its a trailer for a Michael Bay film. at times almost unbearable-
just started listening to book two and happy to report that the narration has calmed down compared to this one.
good book though and well written.

Good but....

The story is a solid story but 2 issues for me: it is difficult to invest in the characters they just arent investible and the accents. I have not heard this narrator before but the German accents are a mixture of Japanese and other generic European accents.

it is sad but it detracts a lot from the story

the narrator can't do accents
