Nothing is deeper than the desire they can’t fight - or deadlier than the evil they can’t escape.

They were only supposed to have a professional relationship, but FBI agent Kyle McKenzie has been fantasizing about his sexy partner, Cadence Hollow, from the moment they first met. It takes the darkest case of their careers to finally bring their hidden desire bubbling to the surface. Once they’re in each other’s arms, though, they swear that nothing short of death will part them. The Night Hunter - a cunning stalker whose four-state, 15-year abduction spree began in Paradox, Alabama, with Kyle’s sister - may be only too happy to oblige.

In the small town, Kyle must confront the painful past he’s been hiding from Cadence. Kyle vows to put the Hunter behind bars…or in the ground. But the one thing that obsesses Kyle more than his sister’s grim fate - his furious love for Cadence - is the weapon the Hunter will use to lure his pursuers into the mouth of a murderous trap.

What disappointed you about Scream for Me?

I want to start by saying I absolutely love cynthia Eden !! Her books are epic !!! I've read most of them, I've read all in this series and they are brilliant just please please don't listen to it !!! Please read it instead I wish I had .... God I really do hate leaving negative reviews but this book needs to be read NOT listened to !!! I'm sorry but the narrater makes Kyle sound so creepy and moody it ruined the whole story for me :-( I'm now going to read it as the narrator made me feel really uncomfortable with Kyle, I didn't feel there chemistry at all ... Sorry !!!

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Emily Beresford?

Clarissa knightly maybe ???

So sorry !!!!!!

Had to persevere to get to chapter 3. Poorly written, 2 dimensional characters with no depth, cannot imagine them being employed anywhere let alone FBI! Plot and characterisation lack structure, all this is further compounded by dubious narration, any nuances to characters and language lost in narrator interpretation and delivery.

Very disappointing
