When a killer closes in, there's only one way to stay alive. Say You're Sorry is the gripping first book in a brand new series from Sunday Times bestselling author Karen Rose.

A serial killer is on the loose in California, leaving letters carved into the torsos of his victims.

When Daisy Dawson fights off a masked attacker one night, she grabs a necklace from around his neck. What she doesn't know then is that she's found the missing link to a cold case that Special Agent Gideon Reynolds has been tracking for seventeen years. With Daisy's help, he finally has the opportunity to get closer to the truth than ever before.

But it soon becomes clear that Daisy's attack was just the beginning. Now the bloodied bodies of young women are showing up all over the state. As Gideon tries to track down the killer, it's clear he has a new target. Daisy is in more danger than they ever could have realised...

Great story but the reader was a bit mechanical and all voices sounded the same was hard to differentiate between them and who was being spoken about.

Great story pity about the speaker

When I saw the length of this book I thought the editor had been on Annual Leave!
Usually very long books can be boring with the story line drowned under a torrent of words but..in this case I'm delighted to be wrong!
The book is exciting, with a great story line, also great sex scenes! I am so pleased I choose this book and will happily recommend it. (Hang onto your hat!!)

OMG!

I was gripped by and thoroughly enjoyed the plot. Not too struck on the porn or narrator I am sorry to say.

Porn was a surprise!

I love Karen Rose as an author. You know what you are going to get... A love (almost at first sight) interest, friends fighting crime and an interesting storyline with twists and turns.

This book is no different. Gideon and Poppy are thrown together when she is attacked. She managed to fight her attacker off and grabbed a neck chain as she did so. This sets into motion a series of events leading to a deadly showdown.

The narration is mainly OK but sometimes the wobbly tones /voice are irritating.

love the story but not keen on narration
