From the best-selling author of The Chronicles of St Mary's.

Life is good for Team Weird, now heroes and fully fledged Time Police officers. Luke can't wait to bear arms. Jane has a date. And Matthew still hasn't had his hair cut.

But Time waits for no one, and neither do criminal masterminds. A major threat to the Timeline is looming, one far deadlier than mere idiots who want to change history. And when a familiar face becomes a Very Important Lead, will conflicting family loyalties spell trouble for Team Weird?

One missing. One guilt-ridden. And one facing the end of their Time Police career before it's even begun. Not so good then, after all.

Zara Ramm narrated the book as perfectly as she always does. The story galloped along at speed but was a little predictable. Perhaps the characters are so well known to me now that I can guess what they're going to do. It's a reflection on how well Jodie Taylor forms her literary characters. Having said all that, the combination of Jodie's story-telling and Zara's narration, feels similar to immersing myself in a favourite blanket and indulging in a chocolaty treat.

A little bit predictable.

A match made in redacted time space location heaven. For any fan of St Mary's, the Time Police series is heaven. For fans of the Time Police stories, St Mary's ditto.

For fans of sci-fi you will love this book. Fans of history, despite Time Police chagrin, you too will fall in love with the crews of St Mary's. Win win. The only trouble is that the voracious lovers of both will have to wait for the next installment of both St Mary's and the Time Police - sometimes together despite their best efforts to be as far as firetrucking possibly apart.

For lovers of the loveable Matthew ... well I'd tell you but I'd have to kill you first.

Jodi Taylor & Zara Ramm - do it again!

I loved this. Full of action, adventure and relationships. Lots to keep you guessing: who are the bad guys?,who is trustworthy? Will the timeline be safe.
Well written, superbly performed. A joy to listen to.
