When Peter Shaw jumps from the top of a multi-storey car park onto the street below and his ex-wife is discovered murdered DCI Oliver Brooks and DS Stephanie Wright initially think it's a murder/suicide. That's until Cleo approaches Win with the strange messages she's been getting and the team reunite to look deeper into the case, leading them to an enigmatic man called Gideon who runs a support group he calls "The Truth Seekers."

Is Gideon a psychopath who skillfully manipulates his vulnerable group members, or is he the saviour he claims to be? Win & Cleo are in a race against time to discover the truth and catch a clever killer who's hiding in plain view.

This worked so well guessing why these things were happening and why, just kept me entertained and I had to keep listening. Yes there is supernatural element but it fits and it isn't overpowering - it is more about the story. This was another binge listen.

The narration really suited the story.

Great continuation

I loved the narration of Grant Love

DCI Brooks and DS Wright who we meet in the first book (Willow Weeps),find themselves looking into what is the reason behind the murders and suicides that have increased in their town. But they are not alone in the hunt as Cleo, a clairvoyant and Win, the retired police officer are at hand to help. As they uncover more information, a dark past is uncovered. We have some dark and paranormal twists.

Book 2 definitely didn't disappoint. I'm still hoping for more of this supernatural thriller series 🙏🏻🤣

If you love detective, paranormal, and murder this is for you!

Listened via Audible - Grant Love was the narrator, and he added to the suspense perfectly.

Not all is as it seems in this second Wyn and Cleo book by Molly Garcia. The police think it's a straightforward case until Cleo and Wyn get involved. Twists and Turns abound in the exciting edge of the seat story. Grant Love as usual does a stirling job of the narration bringing the book to life and the listener unable to put the story down. Highly Recommended.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the narrator and leave this honest review.
