Join Jake as he navigates his crazy new reality of different dimensions, dangerous monsters, and powerful gods. Eastern cultivation meets a gacha-like LitRPG system as Jake’s understanding of an eternal struggle grows. Evolutions to new monster forms and races, powerful items straight out of Xianxia, and powerful sacred arts will help Jake survive. The earth will never be the same after the apocalypse, but maybe after getting a second chance, Jake will be enough to tip the balance and prevent true evil from prevailing.

Great work, my good sir, under no circumstances do you stop this story. I very much wish to know the story of Jake.

Awesome and satisfying

It takes a certain amount of ridiculousness to Make me go “wow,” especially These days.
Now… Picture if you will, our protagonist, in the grimdark 7 dayz 2 die kinda frontline, killing vampires in style to the dulcet tones of LMAO “Sexy and I know it…”
MF’er theres doing it, there’s doing it right and then theres doing it with so much flair and style even Blade his’self would raise an eyebrow and do the “respect bro” nod!
… Dagn!

This is an amazing book but there are a few things that I don't particularly enjoy. First, it seems a bit disjointed, at times there's a flash forward or a conversation ends a bit abruptly then it is brought back later in the story. Secondly, the book is not as long as I'd like. It's an amazing story but there's a battle in the story which (in my opinion) ends far too soon.

I also like world building, some aspects of the surrounding world is brushed over.

Otherwise, this book is great. 4.5/5. Cant wait for book 3
