My fiancé is the anti-Prince Charming....

Mateo Villani is darkness wrapped in Armani. He's a six-foot-tall, ruggedly handsome savage, a notorious gangster who's bedded half of Manhattan...and now he's my fiancé.

My father betrayed me, signing my life away to the cocky bastard whose personality is colder than a block of ice. Mateo crushed my ambitions when he slid his ring onto my finger. He stole my life away, and now he's determined to mold me into a dutiful mob wife.

But I have news for him: I obey no one.

As the days pass, I am more and more determined to hate him, to resist the fantasies that swirl through my mind when he’s near. But before long, I can't live without the bound wrists, his rough hands, and sinful body.

I find myself longing for him...and his punishment.

I despise my fiancé. But it doesn’t stop me from craving him even more.

I loved the dual narration of Sarah Puckett and Tor Thom, who are perfect for this sinful book.

A mafia romances with tension, betrayal, suspense, loyalty, regrets, arranged marriage. steam, and oh manipulation. Mateo Italian underboss. Declan Mulligan the head of the Irish Mafia comes to him for help.
A deal is made and Mateo and Heaven the daughter of of Declan the head of the Irish Mafia are to be married.
Ohh chemistry between them is instantaneous. Their heat, makes this one very steamy listen.

This is a fantastic start to the “Sinfully Savage Mafia” series, a dark mafia enemies-to-lovers arranged marriage romantic suspense. It is my first book written by Kristen Luciani and I enjoyed her writing style, the story she created is original with interesting storylines that were captivating from start to end. Mateo Villani is looking to make a power play in New York’s mafia world and he is masterminding a plan, a plan that includes marrying Heaven Mulligan, the daughter of the Irish mob boss in New York. He presents his plan to her father, and he buys it and they make an agreement. Heaven’s father made both her and her brother underbosses, but she is the smarter of the two and thinks she is better suited to take her father’s place when he steps down. But he still has that old school mentality of how it is a man’s world and she is not pleased, even less so when she finds out he made a deal with the devil and arranged a marriage for her. Mateo's plan is devious, and he has her right where he wants her, but the one thing he did not take in to account was falling for her. There is never a dull moment in this cleverly plotted story, the world building is fantastic and the drama is non-stop, there is plenty of angst, some twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moment that take you to the edge of your seat, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Kristen Luciani, thank you for the great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧And for the amazing narration, Sarah Puckett and Tor Thom are the perfect cast to bring these characters and their story to life. They understood the characters they portrayed, giving each character a voice that fit their persona and was believable in every role they played. Puckett nailed it as Heaven, grasping every aspect of her personality, attitude and all. Thom did the same for Mateo, playing the alpha mob boss perfectly. Both were excellent in covering the secondary characters’ roles too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and enjoyable to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

This was full of secrets, double cross, family drama, heat & spice. A slow start with an enemies to lovers finish, that epilogue though…..

Just what I needed, pleasantly surprised with how much I loved this. I was entertained all the way throughout with the perfect slow burn and just enough spice. I loved that the fmc was strong and dished out just as much as she was given. The romance was excellent and the pacing was seamless. I highly recommend.

Loved it!
