From New York Times bestselling author Kristen Proby, writing as NATALIE KANE, comes a cat and mouse, dark Mafia novel in her Kings of Vegas series, Savage King.

Violet

My sister was stolen seven years ago. Gone without a trace.

Five years later, I received a letter from her that led me to the Las Vegas underworld. I’d do anything to find her and bring her back to me, including getting tangled up with a sexy, dangerous, tattooed cage fighter named Mateo.

Convinced that he’s the link to Rose, I start to stalk him. But little do I know that he’s stalking me too. And the man that could be the monster in my story is quickly becoming my addiction.

Mateo

I’ve never been interested in playing a game of cat and mouse with a woman before. But I’ve also never met anyone like Violet.

Gorgeous, inked, with hair of fire and a body made for sin, this incredible woman is my match in every way, and I can’t seem to get her out of my system.

I’m not in the market for a relationship. Men like me don’t do forever. But I can’t imagine letting go of her, and when I find out the secrets she’s keeping, I only want her more.

I’ll help her find her sister, no matter the cost. Even if it means my own life.

I absolutely love this series, and I think SAVAGE is my fave so far.

Kane balances the emotional pull of the relationship with high-action, suspenseful scenes. This is Mafia romance at its finest. She writes complex characters with tragic backstories. The character and relationship progressions are strong, and the plot keeps you coming back for more. The bedroom and out-of-bedroom antics are delicious, and I smashed through this audiobook, desperately looking for chores to do around my house, so I could just keep listening.

Mollie is such a fantastic voice actor. She narrates each female character differently, so you always know who’s talking. Her narration is next level. Jason gives us his signature growl but also so much more. He matches Mollie’s intense performance. He makes us fall in love with Matteo, the man obsessed. Together with flawless post-production, these narrators bring this story to life so well.

I can’t wait to see where Kane takes Carson’s story. Bring it on!

Fantastic story. Fantastic narration.

This is the third in the series of the Kings of Vegas, and it didn’t disappoint. The story in this has more depth & continues the thread running thru the other two but introduces a difficult subject which it deals with well.
Once again, the voice actors are excellent - especially the female playing Violet. I really prefer proper human actors to terrible AI ones and I’m happy this series has continued with this.
I cannot wait for the next one!

Furthers the series, better story depth
