Maulkin didn't know dying would mean a new eternity of dungeon delving, monster slaying, and glory hunting. If he had, he wouldn't have been so worried about kicking the bucket on a date gone even more wrong than usual.

Reborn in the wild world of Amaranth, Maulkin finds himself in a hulking demi-human body with a sword of a size to match. Marked as an Eternal, a fledging immortal of boundless potential, Maulkin soon discovers he's been given a mission by the elder pantheon of this new realm:

Grow stronger. Ascend to godhood. Spread chaos in their name.

Oh and fend off that inbound apocalypse, if he can find the time.

Who wants an easy afterlife anyway?

not alone with this amazing person reading it out but as well with the funny interactions with the party as well as the carefree kind of feel they give off and amazing input from all party members makes it feel like it's own kind of D&D party and I love it. the funny interactions between mercy and main character have to be some of the best parts.
this book easily makes it to my number one favourite on this app so far

amazing worth it and more

Interesting backstory with dichotomy of good Vs evil - but sadly the whole darker side of his patrons of the moon court rarely came into the story. Despite this the characters were fun and relatable. The story was fun and kept moving too. The fight scenes were not as clever as other books however (with only one skill really being used per battle to save the day- which happens to be one of two Devine powers).
Massive credit has to go to the narrator. Making crazy accents per character and enabling each character’s attempts at comedy or sassiness alive which could ruin the book if done badly.
Overall a solid 4/5 stars

Fun and entertaining.

Love the narrator, best I've ever heard. Hooked me from the start, the author is hysterical and it's written so well, I was immersed. The humour is brilliant, couldn't recommend more. Great RPG-like book, even for those like me who aren't gamers. Great fantasy, wonderful writing, fantastically brought to life, love love love it.

Best book on audible!

This is one of the funniest and best books I've ever listened to. I seriously cannot wait until the next book is available. Honestly if you like comedy, action and camaraderie I recommend you try this.
