From the multi-award-winning author Christopher Artinian, comes the first book of the post-apocalyptic zombie series people are calling "gripping", "fast paced and full of action", "very realistic", "captivating", "inventive", and "emotional".

The planet has succumbed to a monstrous virus. Those who die from the infection return as savage predators hell-bent on spreading the virus to the rest of the human population. The UK and Ireland are the last hold-outs, but when the infrastructure supporting their self-imposed quarantine collapses, it's everyone for themselves.

Mike Fletcher and his sister Emma live in Leeds. With the city’s streets overrun by the dead, their only option is to flee. They take their younger siblings and set off to find their last remaining relative in the far north-west of Scotland.

As they travel north they encounter other survivors - but who can they trust? Their terrifying journey will require them to confront horrors both human and inhuman, in the outside world and within themselves. Will they ever find a safe haven?

Safe Haven, Rise of the RAMs definitely delivered, meeting my highest expectations. I knew it would be fantastic within the first few minutes, and I wasn't wrong. It's well-written, chilling, horrific with a unique take and entertaining storyline that captures the attention and engages the readers/listeners from the very start to the end. The characters are well-developed, intriguing, brave, and wholly authentic. I couldn't ask for a better zombie book. Well done!!

A stellar performance by Kim Bretton; she literally brought the characters and the story to life. Safe Haven - Rise of the RAMs is a fantastic zombie post-apocalyptic tale and definitely worth the listen. I strongly recommend this audiobook.

A gripping read that leaves you ravenous for more. I loved this book, it had me hooked from the start and hanging on every word, Kim's softer, melodious voice brings more depth and emotion to the book. The colourful characters and surprising plot twists had me reaching for book 2 and ready for a series binge read! I can't recommend this series highly enough, it definitely deserves 5 stars across the board. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
