Featuring duet narration by the amazing Jason Clarke and Stella Hunter, this is one hot book. He's the most brutal crime boss in the galaxy - and she belongs to him now. Payment for a debt owed. But she is equally determined to resist. The lives of those she loves depends upon it. Except Dahlia isn't prepared for the insatiable hunger the warlord's discipline awakens. Or her soul's recognition that her new master is also her fated-mate. As dangers mount and betrayals loom, all Dahlia knows is turned on its head. Allegiances are tested. Secrets exposed. Nikolai and Dahlia

I haven’t listened to an Omegaverse story for a long time. Allison weaved an exciting world with a really detailed story that really held my attention. How she brings in the past of how these two meet , and see in one another something even at a young age got my interest and held it from the beginning.

Dahlia is treated horribly by her father, Oland and this book starts with her being sold off to pay off his debts leaving me shocked and that was just the beginning. But that’s what Omegaverge stories do to me, 😝 shock me more!

Nikolai is demanding ,an Alpha and out for revenge and he will get what he needs from Dahlia so he can get that revenge.

There’s so much revealed as this story goes along. Really hawt sexiness between Dahlia and Nikolai. It was really wonderful seeing these two bonding together as the story develops. And we see this bond helping Dahlias gift of seeing visions come to light.

I so didn’t see the twist coming that changed who I thought was the bad guy in this book. And happy to have a HEA for Dahlia and Nikolai. Yet there’s a whole bunch more siblings to get their own stories so I can’t wait.

When I saw who was doing this audiobook, I knew instantly that I was in for an awesome listen. These two are professionals and can change their voices to several characters making them all distinct. Really enjoyed this one, fingers crossed they are in the other audiobooks for the series.

It’s been a long time since I read a good smutty book and I forgot how good an Omegaverse story can be. It can be quite shocking when you haven’t read one for a long time but I loved it.
As with all omegas Dahlia has had a tough life but hers has been exceptionally bad. Her alpha father regularly beats her, has kept her under lock and key her whole life and sees her as nothing more than a bargaining chip to further his power and agendas as one of the reigning crime bosses in the galaxy. He has racked up debt and she is to be sold off as payment to clear the full amount to his enemy.
Nikolai in some ways has had a tougher life. His mother and twin siblings were killed by Dahlias father and he is intent on using her to get the revenge he is owed.
I listened to the audio version and the duel narration was amazing really bringing these two beautiful tortured souls to life.
If you love audiobooks this one can’t be missed a listen.
If you love Omegaverse with a dash of Mafia Dark romance then you are really going to love this combination of genres!
5/5 and can’t wait to check out more on this new series.
