The Grishaverse will be coming to Netflix soon with Shadow and Bone, an original series!

The wolves are circling, and a young king will face his greatest challenge in the explosive finale of the instant number-one New York Times best-selling King of Scars Duology.

The Demon King. As Fjerda’s massive army prepares to invade, Nikolai Lantsov will summon every bit of his ingenuity and charm - and even the monster within - to win this fight. But a dark threat looms that cannot be defeated by a young king’s gift for the impossible.

The Stormwitch. Zoya Nazyalensky has lost too much to war. She saw her mentor die and her worst enemy resurrected, and she refuses to bury another friend. Now duty demands she embrace her powers to become the weapon her country needs. No matter the cost.

The Queen of Mourning. Deep undercover, Nina Zenik risks discovery and death as she wages war on Fjerda from inside its capital. But her desire for revenge may cost her country its chance at freedom and Nina the chance to heal her grieving heart.

King. General. Spy. Together they must find a way to forge a future in the darkness. Or watch a nation fall.

Although Leigh Bardugo has said this is the end for now, there are enough doors left open for a return at a later date. I won't post any spoilers.

Once again Lauren Fortgang has done an amazing job with her performance.

Great listen.

This book was absolutely fantastic! I loved everything about it. I loved how the characters from her other books were woven into the story. As I have missed Kaz and everyone from Six of crows.

Amazing!!!!

As the last of seven books there is definitely a lot of loose ends being tied up in this book, so at times this felt like a very long-winded listening experience. I don't think it would hold up as a standalone but it's a great finale. Then again I was really grateful to meet all the main characters of the previous books in the last two. A great ending(???) to a really fantastic series.

Long-winded but gets there in the end

I wasnt sure about this as a side story but it is fantastic.

I loved the many different threads of the story (no spoilers from me) and the progression of the characters was great.

Expertly read and she had so many voices to do for each character by a different person per chapter. Hats off - thats some juggling.

A Great Book
