Love struck me at the early age of five. The boy turned into a man, and I fell even deeper. Guy Webb had no idea my fragile heart belonged to him for so many years. He was too busy being my brother’s best friend and a star on the football field. He was my daydream and consumed every single thought, but he was always one step from my reach.

Beartooth Ranch was our home. The rich ranch land raised us, fostered our laughs and losses, and even gained a new family member when Guy moved in for his sophomore year of high school.

I hid my love for years. But now he’s back. Guy Webb returned a broken soldier after serving his country all over the atlas. And now it’s my job to help him heal.

My family lost everything with his return, and I can only hope I survive it.

This is a beautiful story of lifelong love with no games between the main characters. I laughed and cried and fell in love with the Hero. Jeremy York does a fantastic 5⭐️ job on the narration of Guy, who is a new favorite book boyfriend. I loved the heroine, Molly, too. But Lacy Laurel’s narration diminishes the listening experience for me somewhat because she slurs consonants and pronounces common words in a dialect that takes me out of the story. This is my second book narrated by her, and I had similar issues with both, so it may just be me. The story is so wonderful, I’d hate for anyone to skip it on this count alone, but maybe for me it would have been better reading it myself than listening.

HJ Bellus knows how to tell a compelling, intriguing, heart wrenching but a loving story. I love that she does not shy away from having her characters experience tragedy but allowing her readers to know that through the bad times, love and family prevail. The narrators for "Royal Atlas" knew just how to execute the emotions and convey the characters' personalities to us readers; they did an excellent job.

I love the fact that it’s a combination of a military man that needs to heal both mentally and physically. Mixed with a horse ranch filled with cowboys and cowgirls. This is well written and I did enjoy the ending of the book. Can’t wait to read more from this author and exploring this narrators as I feel that they brought the emotions out well
