Alan Titchmarsh's sparkling new novel is a delicious blend of humour and romance, and a resounding affirmation that there is no such thing as the generation gap.
The voice on the other end of the phone was severe. "It's your grandmother." "Yes?" "She's been arrested." Nick Robertson has become used to his grandmother Rosie's dotty behaviour. At 86, a widow now, she is determined that before life passes her by, she will live a little. Or preferably a lot. It wouldn't be so bad if Nick had nothing else to do, but with a job to find, two warring parents to cope with and a love life in terminal decline, he would prefer his grandmother to get on with things quietly. But, Rosie insists, there is no time like the present...©2004 Alan Titchmarsh (P)2005 W.F Howes Ltd Kadın Kurgu Kurgu Romantik Esprili Komik Samimi İyi Hissettiren

Alan has a gentle but compelling writing style that works very well for an audio book. I would highly recommend his stories.

Up to Alan’s usual high standards

This is the first book I have read by Alan Titchmarsh and I couldn’t stop listening until the end. It had everything I enjoy in a good story, plus a tear or two towards the end. Now I’m going to find another by this author ….. straight away ❤️

What a wonderful story

Alan Titchmarsh has such a mellow voice it’s a pleasure to listen to him, although it seemed slightly odd when he described the main couple undressing each other. The story was enchanting and kept me captivated to the end.

Loved this book

Loved this, listening in just 2 days. Really not my usual choice of book (Fantasy Sci-Fi and horror) but was tempted by the daily deal after listening to the sample and reading its description. I loved listening to the author narrate his story, he has a wonderful voice to listen to. The story moved along nicely , keeping me invested until the very end. Laugh out loud moments and a few tears. Now I'm looking for more of Alan Titchmarshs books.

Just Brilliant
