Silas is growing into the responsibilities weighing him down.

Earth is struggling, but there is hope. The deals that Silas has made have brought resources and trainers to Earth. He's helped some leaders gain an understanding of what they will face.

His team has continued to grow but now he finds himself facing the greatest challenge to any Forerunner, the Wild Hunt. He'll be hunted but also have to hunt other Forerunners while forging a shaky alliance with those he can't trust.

Even more disturbing, it seems like there might be more than one system to choose from. Or is that just a temptation? When his back is to the wall, will he choose the devil he knows or the one he has yet to learn about?

Resist the apocalypse. Resist the system. Resist the traitors.

Another solid installment, some great pay offs from previous books with a ton of foreshadowing, I appreciate that some major arcs were satisfactorily closed without being dragged out, while fresh and equally intriguing challenges lay ahead. Just a really fun read/listen. Eagerly awaiting the next book.

Did not disappoint

Once again this is a smash hit and a fine addition to the series. You can feel the main character as he levels up and the journey he has gone on since the start.

The writing

The wider multiverse is finally about to be revealed to the world. Now let's see if they have the usual tropes of people arguing and fighting with the mc and getting brushed off for being young.

okay interesting

Sean Oswald is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors in the LitRPG genre, and this series is one of the reasons.

Pacing is fantastic, characters' are compelling, the story is solid, and the RPG elements of the story are interesting without being overwhelming.

Also, Travis Baldree is amazing, as always.
Looking forward to book 5
