Read by award-winning narrator Ray Porter

In New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Maberry's thrilling Relentless, Rogue Team International joins Joe Ledger in a new hunt that spans the globe and journeys deep into the terrifying landscape of the human heart.

JOE LEDGER’s world has been torn apart. The people closest to him have been savagely murdered and Ledger is on the hunt for the killers. His already fragile psyche has cracked apart, allowing a dangerous darkness to overwhelm him.

His hunt takes him deep into the world of the deadly black market weapons sales, and standing in his way are a new generation of private military contractors. These mercenaries have been enhanced with cutting-edge cybernetics and chemical enhancements, transforming them into real-world super soldiers. Stronger, faster, harder to hurt, and fitted with built-in weapons. They are beyond anything Joe has ever faced.

But he is not the Joe Ledger they expected to fight. He is defined by the Darkness now. The attempt to destroy him—to break him—has backfired. Instead his enemies have turned him into a far more fearsome weapon.

Everyone is out for blood.

Hard to do this justice without any spoilers. Threads that have been developing for years are coming together, characters I love threatened, characters I love to hate getting theirs, a character exit rivalling the best one in Indiana Jones (you’ll know it when you read it). Can’t recommend this series highly enough. Narration, as ever perfect from Ray Porter, gives characters real identity with subtle accents and mannerisms that never take you out of the moment.
If you haven’t listened to this series, then grab Patient Zero, I envy what you’ve got coming :) if you’ve gotten as far as relentless, then this is what you’ve been waiting for since ‘that Christmas’ and you’re buying it anyway!

Consistently awesome

Another fantastic book... Dark, bloody, worrisome, and perfect. I listened to it while recovering from surgery in the hospital and freaked a few nurses out in parts lol... But a bloody good (even if heart-rending) story and closure to some open loops.

Maberry... Keep that damn dog safe and alive forever or I'll hunt you down. I mean it.

Stellar

Being a long term fan of both Jonathan Maberry and his brilliant creation Joe Ledger I have be waiting with baited breath for the new chapter in the series, and to say I was not disappointed would be a huge understatement - a excellent fast moving story that doesn't skimp on outstanding characters and nail bitting situations, would recommend to anyone who likes action stories with characters that aren't cardboard cutouts but are sculpted to be interesting, a great story.

Brilliant edition to the Joe Ledger world

With the pace of a thriller this book has a distinct and different feel to previous books.
With the narration of Ray Porter bringing emotion and compassion in the darkest of plots.
Definitely one of the best in series.

A exploration of the darkner side of Ledger!

I've been following Joe's adventures with Echo team, and now RTI, from the beginning. He, Ghost, Top, Bunny, Church and Bug are family now. Jonathan Mayberry hasn't had a character that I don't love. I'd love to see this as a TV series but in the meantime I'll keep reading.

Joe never fails to wow and Ray never fails to bring the words to life
