This was a fun cowboy romance, but which also touched on some heavier topics such as a grief, which was a welcome change.

I love Kayla Grosse’s focus on plus-size FMCs - she is great at building a body-positive space.

The audiobook narration was really good. Desiree Ketchum does a perfect male voice which makes the chapters she narrates 10 times better.

I liked the writing style and the characters, but i found the main plot trope of 'miscommunication' really frustrating and slow. Withholding information from each other is fun side plot, but when its the whole plot it gets a tad tedious! I just really needed the characters to comunicate! or go to therapy! or BOTH!

Narrators were both good and gave the characters a realistic feel.
