Reform or Revolution, also titled Social Reform or Revolution?, is an 1899 pamphlet by Polish-German Marxist theorist Rosa Luxemburg, in which she argues that trade unions, reformist political parties, and the expansion of social democracy could not create a socialist society as Eduard Bernstein, among others, argued. She contends from a historical materialist perspective that capitalism is economically unsustainable and will eventually collapse and that a revolution is necessary to transform capitalism into socialism. The pamphlet was influential in revolutionary socialist circles and an important precursor to left communist theory.

The narrator sounds robotic and emotionless? Is it AI. There is passion in the argument and this undermines interest in the text. Given this probably better to read rather than listen.

The voice not the argument

The book is a must-read, truly a Marxist classic. Luxemburg takes Bernstein's ideology apart brick by brick, until there is nothing left of his arguments. Very dense prose, something new to find with every re-read. Beautifully written.
The narrator, unfortunately, mispronounces many words and takes on an out-of-place, comically mocking tone a few times. It's very strange and takes you by surprise. It's not the worst narration I heard, but a book this good deserves correct pronunciation and a cohesive tone.

Brilliant book
