"Once upon a time there was a village child who was so pretty - so pretty as never was seen . . ."

So begins Beatrix Potter's retelling of Red Riding Hood. Filled with the delicious darkness of the original classic fairy tale - and some trademark Potter wit and flourishes - this book is brilliantly brought to life with artwork by one of the world's greatest illustrators, Helen Oxenbury.

I got this book for my LO who’s been asking for it as we like reading/listening stories before bed.I didn’t expect the book to end up hen Red Riding good enters her grandma’s house and as we read the book LO was disappointed to…..Have I known the book is not full or that is finishing before it ends,or is like a twist would have not get it…..I spend my credit for this and it did not let expectations

The narrator is lovely and is very clearly and nicely red but still it dodo not end well……..

Disappointed…….
