Before the beginning...

Infinity welcomes careful drives and Better than life are better. Its on par with Last Human but feels more like the first two books listed, The red dwarf books are in my opinion the funniest Ive ever read by the way (ignoring Backwards which is a let down).

Scattered with cultural references that the first generation of fans will appreciate, and an aesthetic faithful to the Red Dwarf universe, this laugh-out-loud story delivers in style.
Barrie's performance is outstanding as usual; no-one could do better.
Recording and editing was almost spot-on; audio levels and consistency were perfect, and I only noticed a single retake that wasn't deleted.

Written for the audience, doesn't disappoint

If you're a middle aged dwarfer, depressed at the cancellation of the venerable old show, this will be good for the soul. Terrific stuff, with just enough reminders of shows gone by, to make you laugh out loud. DWAYNE DIBBLEY !! Need I say more!

Wasn’t sure what to expect.. then early on I heard kochanski was from Yorkshire?!! And Rimmer seemed to say init albeit once briefly..

It’s great the writers have played with such ongoing discussions such as why did hollister arrange for Rimmer to repair the drive plates?

I loved how Rimmer almost got an ending as did lister but the swerves away from such things were nicely done.

More women included is cool too, Including a look into kochanskis inner workings .

No more Doug Naylor :(
