Rebirth represents a new chapter in the history of the Salamanders.

The Sixth Company set out for Heletine, where Brother-Captain Drakgaard's warriors will face the might of the Black Legion in a battle. But there is more to this Promethean War than conquest, and only as the conflict grinds on are the true motives of the enemy revealed....

Really good

Really loved the story but struggled with the monotonous tone and curious pronunciation and emphasis of the narration. It made it very difficult to maintain attention and I ended up listening in fairly short bites.

Disappointing narration.

I've gone through quite a few 40k novels now, this audio is a pretty good story. My only gripe is the narration, it's done well enough, but compared to more modern 40k audios, it certainly shows its age. The Salamanders have strange accents somewhere between south African, Welsh and a tinge of Africans... very bizarre but all in all a pretty good novel, lots of action. I do feel it would be better physically read but that's just my opinion.

Not a bad story at all, perhaps better as a book

That was very entertaining and informative. Can’t wait for the next book in The Circle of Fire. Well recommended for anyone interested in all things Salamander and all the others in the imperium!

Gripping story

im a huge Salamander fan, their where my first army and always loved how they acted in the lore. this book however has a lot wrong with it. the pacing is very slow with not much haperning. This seams less like a novel and more like a bunch of reports strung togeather.

Slow, uninteresting, alwful narrator
