Ally doesn't want to have anything to do with werewolves. Kade is a werewolf who wants to do everything to Ally. Just because Ally Rose can turn into a wolf doesn't mean that she's happy about her status as a shape-shifting, occasionally howling, never-butt-sniffing werewolf. As a result, she has only two rules in life: 1) avoid werewolf packs at all costs and 2) stay the hell away from the man who turned her against her will. Packs are evil...violent...deadly.... And the wolf who turned her is the worst of the worst.

Just because Kade Blackwood is the Alpha's brother doesn't mean he can ignore a direct order - even when it's something as mundane as packing up an old woman's belongings and hauling them back to the pack house in Ashwood. But all of his good intentions fly out of the window the moment he steps foot in tiny Pepper, Georgia...and smells her. His mate. He wants her. Craves her. Aches for her. But first he has to find her...before the wolf hunting Ally gets his paws on her.

Contains mature themes.

This book started much more quickly than the previous book and the pace was well maintained throughout with an enjoyable balance of suspense, romance and action. It can be enjoyed as a standalone, with a complete story and HEA, although for those who have read book 1, some missing answers are revealed.

I enjoy fated mate stories, but like in this book, prefer it when there's more story than 'meet and instantly get together'. The reason for the h resisting the H was convincing rather than coming across as contrived and annoying and the h had limited TSTL moments.

Overall an enjoyable, past-paced story with a HEA.

Enjoyable fated mates romance

such a great book was hard to stop listening to.

I loved this book from start to finish. The heroine of the story get her happy ever after in the end. Also learns to stand up for herself against the evil Alpha Wolf. He got what he deserved and lost everything. Now he's a broken man lingering in a moudy cell for the rest of his life and Ally is free to live her life fully.

Awesome Storyline
