The woman in the newspaper office took off her glasses and polished them on her cardigan.
"What are you advertising?"
"My parents," said Keith.
What does a kid do when his Mum and Dad are past it? Get them into shape, decides Keith. And find them new partners. It's a brilliant plan, but he'll need help.

Award-winning children’s author Morris Gleitzman brings back the lovable and goofy Keith Shipley for more adventures in the audiobook Puppy Fat. After Keith’s parents go through a divorce, he suddenly worries that, on account of their increasing age and weight, they might not ever find another love. Performed with the endearing enthusiasm listeners have come to expect from Gleitzman, this is the humorous and tender story of one boy’s bumbling but well-intentioned attempts to find his parents new partners. Like all of the best stories from Gleitzman, this one is full of laughs, yet cleverly provides a valuable lesson for children and adults.
