When things go bump in the night and children go missing, she is the last hope to bring them home.

“My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker.”

When children go missing, and the humans have no leads, I’m the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. I’m on the FBI’s wanted list. I have a werewolf for a pet and a witch of a best friend and have no need for anyone else in my life. But when a hunt for a missing child starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction. One who is dangerously dark, brooding, and doesn’t know a thing about the supernatural. One whose kisses set me on fire.

Performed by Nora Achrati; Chris Genebach; Bradley Smith; Yasmin Tuazon; Alejandro Ruiz; Amanda Forstrom; David Jourdan; Ken Jackson; Nanette Savard; Carolyn Kashner; Eric Messner; Colleen Delany; Kimberly Gilbert; Michael John Casey; Richard Rohan; Nick DePinto; Rose Elizabeth Supan; Mort Shelby; Scott McCormic; Terence Aselford.

I chose this over the standard narrated version as the narrator on that was absolutely awful, so flat and dull. I wasn't sure what to expect from this format, but it turned out to be excellent! I thoroughly enjoyed this dramatized adaptation, the most I have enjoyed an audio book for a long time. The acting was good (I really liked the voice for the main character, which is the most important). The characters are really brought to life and the sound effects made for an exciting and dramatic experience. (Alex is totally loveable!). I can't wait for the next installment. I'm just sad they've only done the first three in this way! Please, please, please record all of the series like this!

I found this author as I listened to the Forty Proof Series, which was alright, not amazing, but this series (thus far), is much better in my opinion. Much more exciting! Recommended if you like Mercy Thompson and (early) Anita Blake (though both of those series are still better...First 8 only of Anita Blake that is ;) ).

Absolutely brilliant

So So Good!! I picked this cause I was bored and I enjoyed reading Golden so thought I'd give the Shannon's other books a go. I was busy prepping for Christmas and so chose the Audio! and boy was this great! the Narration is excellent! having the full ensemble is so much better! abd the story was exactly what I wanted. Full of action and fun! the quality of the audio was excellent. cannot recommend this enough! I can't wait to start book 2

Love the idea of someone being able to track the threads of people’s essence . A great character who can fight like crazy . I know she will fall in love the the fbi guy ?
