A fatal accident during a Duluth blizzard is declared suspicious by Homicide Lieutenant Ernie Gramm in order to keep his people from having to do storm duty. The cops soon realize the made-up murder is the real thing. The motive may be revenge for an incident fifteen years earlier, but police consultant Milo Rathkey isn’t so sure. One thing everyone knows, freezing rain in Duluth in January can be deadly.

Loved all of these audiobooks, I have listened to them a few times and they never seem to get old. More please.

Fun storylines, and a good mix of characters

Pop-Up Dinner, Drop Down Dead is the first Milo Rathkey Mystery I’ve listened to, and overall it was an interesting experience. The story is well written, with plenty of twists and turns to keep the plot moving and hold your attention. While I enjoyed the mystery and can appreciate the quality of the writing, for some reason it didn’t quite leave me eager to listen to more of the series.
As always, Tom Lennon’s narration was excellent. His delivery helped bring the characters to life.
I was kindly given a copy of the book and leave this honest review.

Interesting Listen.
