Özet

Everyone who's played the game has heard those words a time or two. But Hancock has heard them his entire life from his parents. His family has lived and breathed baseball even before he started little league.

Hancock "Parts" Peters has a name that inspires grins across many faces, but the moment those faces get their first look at him, those grins slide away.

Hancock is gruff, filterless, and doesn't give a crap who he offends. He is the only man in baseball who doesn't care if he gets an endorsement or not. He's there to play the game. He's there to win. He's there because baseball is his life.

People think he's a jerk. And maybe he is. But if that's how he has to come off to get people to leave him the hell alone so he can play in peace, so be it. The less people he has to worry about offending, the better.

I stubbled onto this book my mistake and I do NOT regret it.
The banter between the main characters are amazing, cute, funny and sexy.
The way he treats her is swoon worthy, I swear I need a man like him in my life.

Very fun easy reading book.
Some scenes were hard to follow as the timeline was not clear but mostly it was good.

I love Hancock and his determination to be who and what he wants to be, no matter what anyone else thinks, he is gruff, abrupt, even rude, but he owns it and you have to respect him for it. I also love that he is completely upfront with Sway, he knows she is his, he is hers and they WILL be together....forever. He just has to convince her!
Sway is awesome, she has worked hard to be where she is, she takes no sh*t, verbally jousts with the best, sasses and demands respect from the players. She is no different with Hancock, she calls him out, she teases, but she also has steamy, sexy fantasies starring the grumpy player, if only she can make him hers....a little bit of reverse psychology maybe?
They are a fantastic couple and I love that they become the face of baseball, because baseball is their life!

It was an ok story. It wasn't as good as other books I've read from this author. There's something missing from this one.

Sway and Hancock have a very sexy, sweet and satisfying story. I loved the narration by Mason Lloyd and Kendall Taylor.
