The problems in Dirk Cooper's life were Ghosts, Money and The Mob. The solution was Real Estate.

Join notable hobo Dirk Cooper as he lies, cheats and steals his way through life, desperate to recover the things he lost during the housing crash of 2008. When he is approached by a wealthy and powerful man with haunted houses to sell, Dirk thinks his troubles are over. Things are not as they seemed, however, and soon he is caught up in a web of dark magic and danger the likes of which he has never encountered before.

An excellent urban fantasy book. Even though I referred to Jim butcher in the title, this book is far more unique in genre. For me, the storyline was excellent and very fast paced. if your attention wanders for even a minute, you'll find yourself rewinding so as not to miss anything. The narration was superb, which is to be expected. can't wait for the next book!

Loved this Jim Butcheresque book!

I wanted a fun, lighthearted read. What I got was just another ghost story. It was enjoyable but not hilarious or super exciting.

Good narration, OK story.

The narrator, Scott Aiello, was EXCELLENT and really gripped you in the supernatural chaos of Dirk Cooper! I’ve already bought the second in the series.

Brilliant!

Fantastic! If you like a good ghost story with a thrill and adventure then you will love this. Narrator is better than good, he puts life ( if that’s the right word to use for speaking ghost) into all the characters. Such a great story of Dirks life and good and evil spirits. I bought the second book straight after I finished this and it was a great thrill ride and worth every penny. I hope people love it as much as I have.

Loved this book.
