Determined never to trust a man again, Callie Young walks out of her job as a presenter on the weather channel, determined to take the first job that will get her out of the city and away from the TikTok video, #WRONGFORECAST, that has amused the world. Meeting her new employer, the cranky and bossy owner of Kilcoy Station, reinforces her belief that no man can be trusted—but, to her dismay, that doesn't stop her developing an attraction to him! Braden is unimpressed with the glamorous woman the employment agency sends in response to his desperate ad for a nanny. She's never been out of the city, barely knows the difference between a bull and a milking cow, and drives a luxury car. But she makes him feel things he'd thought were gone for good. Will he protect his heart—or allow himself to fall for her?

A grate start to this interesting little series about life in the austrailian outback, this is a series about 8 women who are from or end up in a remote Austrailian outback town and the romances they end up in,

After being publicly humiliated by her fiance on TV Callie Young takes a job in the austrailian outback to get away from the city in order to recover from her humiliation to take a job as a nanny for Braydon Cartwrite. Braydon has just had his kids returned to him after living with his sister due to being unable to cope after his wifes deaf. This was a lovely little story and although I don't usually buy shorter books i'm glad i've invested in this series and am looking forward to more.

Lovely start to an interesting little series.

I really enjoyed the characterisation in this book, simple but enjoyable story in a terrific setting, which so much more could have been made of.

Great if somewhat formulaic story
