Excellent book, and there have been devastating developments since publication therefore there has to be another book to maintain the underlying understanding of this now socially, global trade.

I was swayed by the date of publication - 2019. That’s the audiobook - the material was written in 1996 - so is now 30 years old. Fine for the detailed history bits - but hopeless for a contemporary take in a very fast moving subject. Had I known I wouldn’t have bought the book
