When she came to Detroit, Isabella “Izzy” Sage was looking for answers about the death of her parents, who were killed while doing the very job she’s about to take on: managing the death gate - a border between the living and the dead, located on Belle Isle. What she found was a sense of family, a little romance, and a whole lot of adventure.

Join Izzy and her new friends, the Grimlocks, as they tackle a myriad of monsters and search for the truth about what happened to Izzy’s parents when something terrible crossed over from another world and upended Izzy’s life, when she was just a child. The laughter, love, and danger are nonstop.

This omnibus includes the first three titles in the Death Gate supernatural thriller series: Only the Lonely, Only the Quiet, and Only the Lost.

Another series that came up in recommendations and I’m so glad I took a chance and bought them.
Loved the stories and the characters especially Aisling I have now bought books 4 and 5 after bingeing the box set .

So good

Don't usually write reviews but just loved this set of books. Loved that previous characters pop up throughout these stories. Great way to spend Lockdown. Think this is my new favourite Amanda M Lee series so far. That says a lot as I have most of her work on Audible.

Fantastic story

I really tried to get through this, but although the idea was good, the execution is filled with superfluous, high school dialogue that goes on forever and does nothing to advance the story. Half the book is filler. At least half of the dialogue could be edited out and it would take nothing away from the story. Such a shame.

The first book started of pretty well ,story seemed ok a little slow to start off with .Book 2 was long and very boring , I stuck with it in the hope of improvement, sadly this did not happen I was losing the will , book3 again started randomly in a place where I felt did not follow on from book 2 tbh I couldn’t be bothered putting myself through another torturous 8 hours in the hope it would have some kinda meaning and bring me some enthusiasm to continue listening . The narrator is very good
