The world of Densun has become so corrupt that Heaven has chosen an atheist criminal to protect it. Alex Talos believes in little he cannot see, a view reinforced by the abuse that filled all 16 years of his life. But when he is given a chance at personal redemption - one that he hopes will offset his fugitive status - he takes it, despite not believing in the forces responsible for the offer.

Alex views his new title, the Holy Protector of Densun, as nothing more than a gateway to better meals and warmer beds, though new companions attempt to teach him a sense of responsibility. Alex stubbornly clings to his views until a threat emerges that challenges everything he knows about reality.

Listening to this was easy due to the narrators voice and tone used for each of the characters. Descriptions were precise and Humour was timed perfectly that I laughed more times then I could count. Highly recommended for lovers of Fantasy, Comedy and a narrator who's easy to listen to. 10/10 would definitely listen to again.

I couldn't stop listening.
