From Casey McQuiston, New York Times bestselling author of Red, White & Royal Blue comes One Last Stop, a big-hearted romantic comedy that will stop you in your tracks. . .

Moving to New York City is supposed to prove cynical twenty-three-year-old August right: magic and cinematic love stories don’t exist.

But then, she meets this gorgeous girl on the train.

Jane. Dazzling, charming, mysterious, impossible Jane. Jane with her rough edges and swoopy hair and soft smile.

August’s subway crush becomes the best part of her day, but pretty soon she discovers there’s one big problem: Jane is displaced in time from the 1970s, and August is going to have to use everything she tried to leave in her own past to help Jane. Maybe it’s time to start believing in some things after all . . .

A dazzling romance, filled with plenty of humor and heart. Time Magazine
Absolutely brilliant
One Last Stop is an earnest reminder that home - whether that means a time, a place, or a person - is worth fighting for
This delightful love story is everything you need for a feel-good day of beach reading
The story of August and Jane's chance meeting is swoony, thoughtful, and one of those big-hearted romances you'll gush about long after finishing
[A] fireworks in the sky, glitter in your hair joyous royal romance that you’ll want to fall head over heels in love with again and again. A+
[An] escapist masterpiece... It’s a truly glorious thing to live inside the world of this book and to imagine it becoming reality, too.

This really took me a long time to get through, I don't mind a supernatural premise but I really didn't feel the connection between August & Jane. There was a sense of honesty when they said their good byes on the train tracks but all that came afterwards ruined all the build up about moving on again..

I wish I could have loved this but it was just ok

A lovely mashup of genders and a story across time and personalities. Lovely people. And at the heart of the story love between two young women. Funny and moving at the same time, it’s a terrific read.

Just delightful

Not sure why but I found this a lot of effort to get through and couldn’t really connect with the story. It was an okay book but probably just wasn’t to my taste. Well read though at least.

Not the best
