Welcome to Salem, Maryland...a small town that much like it's Northeastern Namesake, loves Halloween.
Plus-size bookstore own, Calista, hates Halloween and everything about it.
Which is exactly why she shuts down her store and locks herself in a hotel suite every October 31st. Relaxing with a good book, a jacuzzi tub, and a glass of wine is how she celebrates such a trivial day.
But when out of towner, and best-selling author Matt Ford, steps foot into her store and begs to host his next book release on Halloween at Books and Brews
• Calista's back is pushed against the wall.
The infuriating, and ridiculously sexy, man refuses to take no for an answer, and even gets the town council involved.
Forced to cancel all of her plans, Calista ends up spending her least favorite holiday with Matt instead and somehow what should have just been One Halloween Night is now starting to look a whole lot like forever.
