Arthur MacDonald, 85, is having an end-of-life crisis. His beloved, dying wife of over 60 years no longer knows who he is. His older brother still has all his hair and a wife almost half his age. The man his middle-aged daughter is dating has a ponytail.

The characters were so believable, inspirational and poignant. So enjoyed it! A different perspective. Brilliant.

I did wonder sometimes what on earth made me listen to this as it's quite sad in places but it was a lovely story. Thought provoking and lessons to be learned. laugh out loud funny and tears falling sad at times.
characters were great and enjoyed the performance too.

Loved the well written characters in this book. Made me laugh out loud at times and introduced me to a different perspective of senior living. Absolutely loved this one

What a wonderful book! I loved every minute of it and can’t believe it was free. Humour and pathos causing smiles and tears. I wanted to buy a hard copy for my husband but couldn’t find one. I cannot recommend this book highly enough plus it is narrated beautifully.
