The thrilling conclusion to the Sophie and the Odd Ones series….

A cryptic message from the Great Mother sends Sophie on a mission to uncover her own dark past. This quest will lead her on a journey to the Queen Maeve’s former stronghold on Earth. Sophie soon discovers the shocking truth about her erased history and the destiny that awaits her.

With the help of her loyal friends and newfound allies, she must journey to other realms to gather an army and confront the darkness that threatens to consume everything she holds dear. As Maeve's hybrid soldiers prepare to launch a full-scale attack on San Francisco, Sophie and her companions must prepare for the ultimate battle.

With the fate of their world on the line, can Sophie finally come to terms with her true identity and embrace her destiny? Or will Sophie lose herself to her dark magic and darker past? Sophie must face her own fears and embrace her newfound abilities.

In this epic finale, Gwen DeMarco masterfully weaves a tale of magic, adventure, and the power of friendship. Odds and Ends, the heart-pounding finale to the Sophie Feegle series, is filled with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last minute.

When an almost down and out Sophie Feegle interrupts a large dog as it worries an Oppossum in a San Francisco alleyway little does she know it's the start of a thrilling rollercoaster ride of discovery for her. A really enjoyable series with a cast of great characters each with their own quirks. Surrounded by dead bodies, shifters, ogres and other non-human creatures it's not long before Sophie realises that she too is not the person she believed herself to be. As the story unfolds each character comes in to it's own be it mythical or human. The series is well paced and keeps the listener gripped throughout. In this final instalment "Sophie must face her own fears and embrace her newfound abilities" to save her beloved San Francisco from the forces of darkness and evil.
Janine Granda did a great job of the narration with her many voices and dramatic delivery. Overall a highly Recommended listen. Make sure to listen to the previous 4 books before this one.
I was kindly given a copy of the book by the author and leave this honest review voluntarily.
