Earth is dying, and its people are running out of time. Nations fight, faiths rise, and survival hangs by a thread.

I am Vist, the last of my kind.

When I agreed to investigate a long-forgotten colony, I found that people indeed can be saved on a different planet. But they bring their trouble with them even there. They call me the Loader.

But the greatest mystery is not what I can do.

It is who I am.

The story pulled me in not because of flashy action or big tech reveals, but 'coz Vist felt real! quietly broken, yet still pushing forward.. There’s a kind of strength in that tired persistence, like someone who's lost everything but still walks because stopping would mean giving up entirely. It reminded me how we all carry ghosts (memories, regrets, the weight of old identities) and how even in a world that feels ruined or forgotten, there's still something inside us that refuses to quit. That quiet resilience stuck with me long after the last chapter..

In the silence of collapse, hope still whispers

I was hooked by this fast-paced story about humanity's extinction and survival. The time-twisting world-building kept me engaged throughout, and Vist's character arc was compelling. The narrator brought the scenes to life perfectly. I'm already excited for the next book in the series.

What a wild ride! This book pulled me in from the first chapter with its mix of sci-fi mystery, strange tech, and that eerie “what is real?” vibe. The writing is clever and layered, and Vist as a character is totally fascinating—mysterious, unsettling, and oddly captivating. Kevin E Green’s narration adds real depth. His voice fits the tone perfectly, keeping things tense and immersive. Can’t wait for Book 2!
