From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Corinne Michaels comes a new sexy stand-alone romance novel.

I have two rules in life:

  1. No relationships, falling in love, or attachments.
  2. No sleeping with clients of my interior design firm.

Since the last guy turned out to be married, they’ve been easy-to-follow.

Until him.

Callum Huxley is a ridiculously sexy Brit, and the connection we have the moment our eyes lock scares the ever-loving hell out of me. Thank God I came to my senses before going back to his hotel where I would’ve ended up naked, panting, and unable to forget him.

Thinking I walked away from that night unscathed was stupid. Sure enough, at the biggest meeting of my career waits the CEO of Dovetail Enterprises - him. It might be the most embarrassing moment of my professional life. And breaking my no-client rule might just be the hottest moment of my personal life.

Learning to trust has never felt so good, but falling has never hurt so bad.

There are four stand-alone novels in The Second Time Around Series.

  1. We Own Tonight (Heather & Eli)
  2. One Last Time (Kristin & Noah)
  3. Not Until You (Nicole & Callum)
  4. If I Only Knew (Danielle & Milo)

Was very close to returning this book as the “British”accent is dreadful but continued to read. I am English and found the accent putting me off

I had such high hopes as the first book was fab!
This book is let down by the make narrator & British accent.
I couldn’t finish it , had to return.
Female narration fab as always by Andi & story seemed good. I’m gutted!

The female narrator is normally brilliant but her English accent is so bad when she does the voice of the man. The male actor is terrible. Please use English actors in future this book is completely ruined by the narration. I love the author but so shocked that a director listened to this or producer and thought it was a good idea to release it. Because the accent is so bad the acting becomes terrible too. so disappointing
