Cara Bastone never fails, such a good storyteller. Excellent narration too. I love how a lot of her books have little things that link them together too.

Cara Bastone has done it again. Trauma, desolation, pain, hope, joy, love... a rollercoaster ride of life beautifully expressed in this snapshot of a couple's biggest struggle yet. A story of dedication towards family and loved ones, to healing and caring. An ode to piecing yourself back together when everything within and without seems to want to crumble you. And all beautifully performed by the audio narrator.

Yet again this author has managed to to gift us an intense emotional story of second chances with a twist would definitely recommend along with a box of tissues

I loved this! the story. the misunderstanding. the stoic nature of Vic. all of it. though I think the audiobook could have done with a male narrator for his parts. only cuz it was kinda hard to follow when his bits came on, even if Alex finke is good at the guy voice.
