Teeming with stalkers and smooth-talkers, rappers and rockers, Naked DJ is biting satire at its all-too-real best. What "Jazmyn" Brown is asked to do to boost ratings and her radio career has her reeling — and questioning everything and everyone around her. Just how much of herself should she expose for her job? What will she do about the two men she loves? And could those demons from her past vanish already? Penned by a bestselling author and former DJ ( The Rock and Roll Madame when her show followed Howard Stern's on New York City's K-ROCK), get ready for an uncensored and hilarious backstage pass to one woman's treacherous rise to the radio top. Read by Rachel Butera, one of America's leading voice talents/impressionists and winner of Dana Carvey's First Impressions TV show.©2016 Jo Maeder (P)2016 Jo Maeder Contemporary Fiction Genre Fiction Kadın Kurgu Kurgu Literary Fiction Literature & Fiction Satire Romantik Hip-Hop Esprili Komik

Eleştirmen yorumları

"Grabs you on the first page and keeps the intrigue high. A rockin' radio riot that reveals everything." (Paul Shaffer, Musical Director, Late Show with David Letterman)
"Our industry is complicated, fun, and sometimes downright corrupt! Naked DJ dares to expose what happens off the air." (Delilah, syndicated nighttime radio host)
"Don't let the title fool you. This isn't an X-rated book. It's about a woman on a difficult and complicated path to understanding who she is and balancing her career with her personal life. Her story will stick with you long after you've finished reading it. If you read Jo's memoir When I Married My Mother, you discovered bits and pieces about her radio career. When you read Naked DJ you'll know that these stories must have happened in one form or another — you just can't make this stuff up." (Mary June Rose, former program director WGN/Chicago)
