A luxury train tour in Europe. A dysfunctional family. A murdered matriarch.

When a long-awaited vacation ends in murder for one of the tour guests and passports are confiscated by the authorities, the dream trip turns into a nightmare.

DeeDee, Jake, Al, and Cassie find themselves stranded in a luxury hotel in Venice, Italy. Sounds great, but they can’t leave until the murderer is found. They have no choice but to help the local police so they can return home to the United States.

This is the 14th book in the best-selling Northwest Cozy Mystery Series by a USA Today best-selling author and Amazon all-star.

I enjoyed listening to Anna Wheeler.

I so don't want to go on a holiday with the lot.
Murder, jealousy, dislike.
Great characters and plot.

I enjoyed this book. This is another great who done it mystery by this author. I liked the fact that the murder happened on the train so apart from the main characters everybody was a suspect. There was plenty of suspects and I did start to suspect the wrong person before they too were ruled out. Like always the author created some great characters, including the murder victim that everybody is bound to hate. It was also fun traveling around to all the different locations and with the police trying to pass the difficult case off to someone else, thank goodness for DeeDee and her friends. Like DeeDee and Cassie I think it might put you off traveling or at least on the same holiday package as them though.
DeeDee and Jake are joined by there good friends Al and Cassie on a train trip around Europe. The rest of group is mostly made up of one big happy family only the matriarch is making everybody's life a living hell. She is rude, vindictive and just plain mean. Everybody tries to ignore her but it proves too difficult for one member of the party. Somebody strangles her in her sleep and as the train eats up the miles audible the track, fingers start to point. The police are busy arguing who's jurisdiction the murder occurred in so it is left up to DeeDee and her friends to find the killer.
I liked the narrator. She didn't try to pull of a Scottish accent which in my opinion was a good idea because unless you are Scottish few can pull off but the rest of the voices sounded good.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
