Loved the book and the series. A refreshing take on your usual crime novels with a twist of who the criminals are.

Great series and excellent book.

Some crime novels have a bit of romance and some romance novels have a bit of crime. This is the latter. I feel it’s trying to be a bit 50. Shades without salacious sex scenes. Too many Americanisms for a British audience. The protagonists are peculiar and one dimensional with a supposedly stalker/obsessive based relationship that ‘works’. No exploration of the ethical or psychological issues this would cause. A murky DCI with hinted ties to the underworld but that’s not explained or explored and a vague and tenuous motive for a multiple murderer. This reads like a first draft not passed through an editor I’m afraid.

Wasn’t wild about narrator and I didn’t like any of the characters wouldn’t bother with a follow up

I enjoyed the story, had me guessing at times. Some good twists. Will try more.

I liked the story but the change of accents by the narrator took a bit of getting used to. characters well written and story gripping. really enjoyed this book.
