A puzzling murder. A suspicious suicide. A nervous mother. A town on the brink. And cake. Lots of cake.

Amateur sleuth Sabrina Carlson has solved every case that she has ever investigated. Only this time, things are different. She's fresh out of leads. And the clock is ticking.

It has been over a week since Mark Wilcox was murdered. Not only is the killer still at large, but a panic has taken hold of the idyllic small town of Treasure Cove. Will Sabrina find a way to catch Mark's killer, or will this case go cold?

This is the first book in the Mysteries of Treasure Cove series. If you like pause-resisting cozy mysteries featuring a picturesque coastal setting, plenty of twists and turns, and a witty sleuth, then this is the book for you.

Meredith Potts writing style is beautiful, so easy to follow and understand the story that it’s impossible not to enjoy her books.
Coupled with Carrie Burgess excellent narration doubles the joy.

Full heartedly recommended.

Enjoyed the concept but don't think the narrator was right for this book. Writing style was straightforward and easy to follow.

So looking at the reviews it's obvious that there are readers who enjoyed this book. Unfortunately it wasn't for me. I actually struggled to finish it.
While I find the narrator ok, I find her very wrong for the book, contributing nothing to the atmosphere.
Although the core idea of the story is good, the plot doesn't seem to be going anywhere. It just goes on and on with tedious details about everyone in Treasure Cove. It feels like a report from a small town's biggest busybody.

Not for me...
